Launched in August of 2012, the Fried Green Tomatoes Food Truck made its debut at the prestigious Wilson County (TN) Fair, one of the largest in the nation. From that very first outing, it was obvious that great southern hospitality combined with delectable fried green tomatoes were a recipe for success.
But, as we traveled around pleasing the palates of folks all across the southeastern United States, we continually received requests from those who wanted to take home our batter mix and The Secret Sauce. We hadn't really considered that but when we stopped to think about it, it made perfect sense - and that brings us to our shiny, new website.
Holly Gatlin Cooper, owner of “Fried Green Tomatoes,” has over 18 years of experience in the food industry. Her past endeavors include partner in the Blue Goose Café and managing and operating of The Hermitage House Smorgasbord.
